"The Woman", a poem written by Heshima girls, Ingrid Mary and Janet

Megan Sidhu
March 14, 2014

On International Women's Day, the Heshima girls and young women gathered to celebrate women all over the world. Along with singing and dancing, Ingrid Mary and Janet wrote and recited this poem to their peers and the Heshima team. Our favorite line, "She is the star that guides the humble - The Woman, without her none of us would be."
